Since 2008, villagers from across Qinghai Province have composed and collected poems, short stories, local histories, and folktales. Contributing authors include teachers, office workers, scholars, elders, and traditional knowledge holders. These texts are collected each fall, and are then published and distributed amongst the local communities during the Tibetan new year (lo gsar).
